研究概要

研究の背景

グローバリゼーションの進展により国際間での経済取引が活発化し、それに伴う世界的な市場メカニズムの浸透が、各国の経済発展に大きな影響を及ぼしている。経済発展の過程では、経済成長とともに、産業構造の変化などの経済構造変化が生じるが、そうした構造変化は各国の経済成長自体に影響を及ぼし、また所得格差などの問題をもたらしている。

本研究の目的は、グローバリゼーションのもとで、一国の経済構造にどのような変化が生じているか、またその経済構造の変化が当該国の経済にどのような影響をもたらすかに関する国際比較研究を行うことである。 改革開放後、急激な経済成長を続けている中国における経済発展と経済構造の変化に軸を置き、それを日本を含むロシア極東の国々における変化と国際比較することを通じて、現在国際的に生じている経済構造変化の動向とその特徴を分析し、それが各国経済および国際経済にどのような影響を及ぼしているかを明らかにする。

研究実績・成果

研究代表者（萩原）と分担者（辻）は、定期的に研究会を開催して意見交換を行いながら、各自の分担テーマに関する研究を行った。 萩原は、中国の経済改革の重要な一環として実施されている中国の金融システム改革によって産業資金供給がどのように変化しているかについて実証的研究を行った。 また、DPG分析を用いて、日本と中国の経済構造変化を検証した。 辻は、中国の製造業のうち、繊維産業を取り上げ改革開放政策開始以降の繊維産業の展開と繊維産業内における産業構造の変化を検証した。 また、森林・林業を中心に中国とロシアの経済交流を研究した。

2012年2月には、共同で上海において産業に関するヒアリング調査を実施した。 中国における産業構造変化と繊維産業の動向及び産業資金調達の変化に関する知見を得た。

研究成果は、Hiroko Hagiwara, "Financial Reform and Financial Intermediation in China", British Association For Chinese Studies, Annual Conference 3-5 September 2012 at Oxford University, UK.（Peer Reviewed）において発表された。また、学術論文が学術誌に公表されている。

今後の展望

産業構造の国際比較研究をさらに進める。 中国と並ぶアジアの経済大国インドの産業構造の研究を加え、経済発展パターンの類型化とその要因を分析する研究を進める。
