研究概要

①　研究の背景

社会は少子高齢化を核家族化の中で迎え，「世代を超えた文化の継承」が十分に行われず，異世代文化が地域内に共存している．

上記の背景の下、本研究では，現在の地域社会に望まれる「異世代交流による文化の継承（知の伝達）」はどのような仕掛けによって活性化されるかを見出そうとした．

第1回研究会では、本研究の中で具体的にまず学園都市の地域住民を対象として調査を行い、異世代間の文化の違いについて、その認識に関する諸問題について検討することとした。5大学と1高専の高等教育機関と住宅が共存し、通学する若者を含めて幅広い年齢層の人々が共に生活する神戸学園都市において、その特殊性を生かした研究結果が期待できることを確認した。

第2回研究会では、地域の歴史に着目し、その伝承に取り組む２組の活動団体、「神戸学園都市高塚山を愛する会」、「歴史探訪クラブ」（神戸市北区小倉台）の代表者をお招きして、それぞれの取り組みについて発表いただき、意見交換を行った。いずれも高齢者が中心の団体であるが、若年層への文化伝承の試みとして、小学校の総合学習の時間を活用し、地域の遺構を訪ねたり、地域の歴史について講義を行ったりしている。問題点としては、小学生は授業であるから参加するが、地域住民を対象としたイベントなどでは、参加は少ない。さらに意見交換を重ね、本研究会では、「小学生の地域文化継承のための体験プログラムを大学生が主催し、実施する。そのためには、大学生に地域文化を地域の高齢者から伝承してもらう。」という方法がよいという結論を得た。

地域文化の継承に大学生の役割を明確にできたことは、本研究の成果の一つであった。

また、学園都市東町・西町の住民に対して、平成23年2月「異世代間の文化継承についてのアンケート調査」（以下、本研究調査）を行った。アンケート内容は以下の通りである。

• 家族間のコミュニケーションについて、頻度や時間帯など
• 地域内のコミュニケーションについて、機会や頻度など
• 地域文化の継承に関する考えについて、いろいろな事項の認知度など
  （くぎ煮、名刹・古刹、遺構、遺跡、旧字名、地形、各学校・地域イベントなど）

平成20年11月に学園都市の大学生に対して、世代間コミュニケーションについて行ったアンケートがある。（UNITY研究班　神戸学園都市地域における異世代交流に関する調査、2010）本研究調査では、大学生以外のサンプルが多く予想されたため、世代間コミュニケーションについて行ったアンケートとの比較ができるように、一部同じ質問を行っている。

本研究調査に先立ち、学園東町連合自治会様、学園西町連合自治会様に研究の趣旨説明を行って、アンケートの各戸配布のご了解をいただいた。アンケートの実施方法は、以下の通りであった。

• 配布時期：2月17日～20日
• 配布方法：学生アルバイトが各戸の郵便受けに投函（6,040戸、12,080枚）
• 回収方法：回答を返信用封筒に入れて、60ポストに投函
• 回収時期：3月15日まで

回収した結果、1,879サンプル（回収率：15.6%）の回答があった。アンケートの回収率は当初予想の1,000サンプルよりも多かった。年代別に見ると、50代（23%）、60代（25%）が半分を占めたが、30代（12%）、40代（15%）の意見も30%近く反映される。

家庭内での会話相手（複数回答）を問うた質問では、夫婦（77.1%）、子ども（58.6%）の順で多く、近隣の家族以外（36.2%）が、兄弟（13.5%）、孫・曾孫（8.1%）を大きく上回っている。

家庭内における子どもと親の会話内容を問うた質問では、親からの回答と子どもからの回答で意見が異なる。親の回答は「その日の出来事」が一番多く、「地域の伝統行事」はその7分の1であるのに対して、子どもの回答は、「地域の伝統行事」が一番多く、ほぼ同数で「その日の出来事」となっている。会話内容を問うた質問であったが、「家庭内で相手に何を質問したか」に回答が偏向したようである。とはいえ、子どもの回答では、「地域の伝統行事」、「地域の名刹・古刹」、「地域の学校イベント」などが両親との間でよく会話されている結果となっており、子どもが知りたい話題となっていることが推測される。

大学生がこれらの情報発信を行って、地域のメッセンジャーとして活躍する機会があることがわかった。

③今後の展望等

2011年5月現在、アンケートの分析が進行中である。その結果については、大学紀要等での発表のほか、学園東町や学園西町の方から要望が多く寄せられているUNITYの公開講座で報告を予定している。

本研究で得られた知見が、「異世代交流による文化の継承（知の伝達）」の活性化に役立つことを期待している。
