研究概要

本研究は、当初はPierre Musso, Le sarkoberlusconisme, Edition de l’aube, 2008を手かがりとして、フランスのサルコジ大統領とイタリアのベルルスコーニ首相の下での政治システムをメディア・デモクラシーの観点から探ろうとしたものであるが、討論のなかから21世紀のポスト・グローバリゼーションの時代におけるデモクラシーのより根源的な在り方を探求するという課題と取り組むことになり、さしあたっては松葉祥一『哲学的なものと政治的なもの』（青土社、2010年）および村上信一郎「西洋政治史のための弁明：そのアポリアと存在理由」（2010年度日本政治学会・分科会「政治学研究とヨーロッパ政治史研究」報告論文）という研究成果をもたらした。
