ファッションデザインと音楽から生まれる新たなセラピーの可能性
研究概要
５－１ 研究の目的及び意義
わが国は、世界でも有数のスピードで高齢化が進展しており、2020年には3人にひとりが高齢者になると言われている。高齢になれば、障害を併せ持つことが多くなり、自宅で暮らすことが不自由な高齢者は、高齢者・介護老人施設へ入所することが多い。その数は年々増える傾向にある。
現在、施設では入所者の心身の活性化を目的に、歌、音楽、体操、教養、ものづくり、ワークショップなどさまざまな取り組みが行われている。
神戸看護大学では、Coral Rain（1998年設立・現在19名）というコーラス部が、音楽を通じて心を癒したいという目的を持ち、介護老人施設、病院、学会、他大学との合同定期奏会等で、「音楽療法」の実践を行なっている。そしてその実績が高く評価され、2004年にこうべユース賞、日本善行会春季善行感謝状を授賞している。
神戸芸術工科大学では、「ユニバーサル」を考えるデザインプロジェクトであるeap（イーブンアートプロジェクト）を通じて高齢者や障害者、子供も参加できる楽しいワークショップやファッションショー、モノづくりを2005年から実施している。
本研究は、分野の異なる福祉分野とファッションデザイン分野とのコラボレーションから生まれる「セラピー」の可能性を探ることを目的とした。各校の学生たちが話し合い、高齢・障害者や子供たちの生活に楽しさ・潤いを与え、心身の活性化につなげる試みを考え実施する本研究は、学生の感性やリーダーシップの育成を図ることができる実践教育であるとともに、年齢や専門分野を超えたコミュニケーション活動としても意義深い取り組みであると考える。これを機に、「元気・楽しい」を与えるセラピープロジェクトとして活動したいと考える。
５－２ 研究のプロセス
●神戸市立医療センター中央市民病院でのコーラスレインの院内コンサート見学
本研究を進めるにあたり、看護大学コーラルレイン部員10名と神戸芸術工科大学ファッションデザイン学科学生4名の意見交換会を月1回開催した。コーラルレインの活動を理解するために、神戸芸術工科大学の学生たちは、コーラス活動を見学することとなった。コーラルレインは、神戸市立医療センター中央市民病院で、年1回のコンサート活動を行っている。若者から高齢者まで病院に入院している多くの患者たちは、彼女たちのコーラスを楽しみにしており、歌声を聴いて涙組む患者もいる程である（写真1.2）。本研究では、コーラルレインのイメージをより高めるとともに、観客にも視覚的効果のある衣装デザインを神戸芸術工科大学ファッションデザイン学科の学生が提案することとなった。

●デザイン提案
コーラルインの歌声は、心にやさしく響き、心身ともに人々を癒す。透き通るような声は、「清らかな」、「純粋な」、「やさしい」、「若者らしい」、「かわいらしい」というイメージを人々に感じさせる。このようないイメージから以下のデザイン提案が行われた。
- デザイン：天使のような柔らかいフレアーラインのワンピース。
- カラー：やさしくかわいらしく見えるペールトーン（ピンク、イエロー、ブルー）
- 素材：透明感のポリエステルオーガンジー。丸柄にフェルト使用。
- コーディネート：季節によりインナーにTシャツやセーターを合わせる。

●こうべＵＤフェア2008への参加
平成20年10月11日、神戸市須磨パティオにて「こうべＵＤフェア2008」が開催された。
コーラルレインは、やさしくかわいらしく見えるペールトーン（ピンク、イエロー、ブルー）のワンピースを着用して参加した。「翼をください」、「天使にラブソングを」に続き「世界にひとつだけの花」を歌うと観客からは、手の振りが飛び出した。コーラルレインの歌声は、観客の心にやさしく響き、心身ともに人々を癒した。

●神戸芸術工科大学20周年事業への参加
「卒業生の皆様、お帰りなさい！僕たちは今、ファッションセラピープロジェクトをファッションデザイン学科の学生４名と教員１名で活動しています。ファッションセラピーとは、福祉分野とファッション分野の異なる分野を融合さして「セラピー」の可能性を見出そうという試みです。今回、歌って頂く神戸市看護大学コーラルレインの方たちは、介護老人施設や病院などで、「音楽療法」を行い、高齢者や子供、障害のある方に癒しと元気を与える活動をしています。
そして同じ目的を持っていることから、コラボレーションが実現しました。是非、コーラルレインの歌を楽しんで聞いてください。」という紹介の後、コーラルレインは、神戸芸術工科大20周年事業（平成20年11月15日）で、美しいコーラスを披露した。近隣の大学でありながら、交流のない現在、これを機に、神戸研究学園都市大学交流に繋がってほしいものである。

●神戸ルミナリエ2009への参加
震災から15年。神戸ルミナリエも15年目を迎えた。時代も変わり、震災を次世代に伝えることが求められている。コーラルレインは、昨年の活動をきっかけに、神戸芸術工科大学 ビジュアルデザイン学科かわい教授が率いる神戸ルミナリエプロジェクトに参加した。最終日の閉会直後、東遊園地のルミナリエ会場には、コーラルレインの美しい声が響き渡った。彼女たちの胸には、ハート型の光が点滅し、まるで心・生命の鼓動を感じさせる鎮魂の風景があった。

５－３ 研究のまとめ
本研究は、分野の異なる福祉分野とファッションデザイン分野とのコラボレーションから生まれる「セラピー」の可能性を探ることを目的とした。
この研究を通じて、以下の成果が得られたと考える。
- 両校の専門性を活かすことができるプロジェクトであった。
- 専門分野や学年を超えたコミュニケーション活動としても意義深い取り組みであった。
- 学生の感性やリーダーシップの育成を図ることができる実践教育であった。
- 音楽とファッションをコラボレーションすることにより、聴覚と視覚から観客に対してアプローチができ、より多くの楽しさや感動を与えることが可能となった。
- 近隣の大学でありながら交流のない現在、これを機に神戸研究学園都市大学交流に繋がった。
