概要
異なる背景を持つ個人や集団が出会うところでは、文化の摩擦や受容あるいは変容が生じる。 異文化に影響を及ぼす者／及ぼされる者、異文化の伝達の仲立ちをする者などに関わるこうした現象は、古今東西多くの人々に観察され、語られてきた。 今回は、イギリス、ロシア、アメリカ、中国、スペインにおける異文化との出会いと対応について、前回に引き続き、それぞれの講師が異なる専門的な視点から論じる。
