科目内容

In November 2016, students in the class will join the World National Model United Nations (NMUN) Japan in Kobe.

On July 9, there will be an orientation that everyone registered in the class must attend.

UN committees, agendas, partners, and materials will be given to the students.

Students will be given research assignments that must be completed by the first class on September 24.

評価方法

50 % of the course work will be on MUN preparation, and 50% will be on the simulation and debriefing.

履修にあたって

① Fees
The conference participation fee is 50,000 yen that covers participation fees, accommodation, and some meals.
Without accommodation the participation fee is 20,000 yen. After Saturday 9/24, conference fees cannot be refunded.
There are no class fees.

② Participation Requirements
The language of the conference is English and students must be able to negotiate and write about United
Nations topics.
A minimum English proficiency level is required for non-native speakers.
（1）English Proficiency Levels
TOEIC 720 or higher, CEFR C or higher, IELTS 6.5 or higher
（ Students from many countries will be participating）
（2）There will be an English interview for all the applicants.

(Students from Kobe City College of Technology in the 4th year and higher are only allowed to apply.)
