科目内容

「ムスリム社会論」的な内容とする。とくに、ムスリムが居住する地域、もしくは、ムスリムが多数派となっている国家を取り上げ、当該社会のなかでイスラームが持つ多義的で曖昧性を孕む意味を、生活レベルから国際政治的なレベルまで扱う。マスメディア等では「テロ」や暴力との関連で取り上げられることの多いイスラームやムスリムの人々が住む社会を、信仰表現などの個人的な文脈から、都市社会や国家というマクロなあり方まで、できるだけ内側から紹介する。また、可能な限り、現地での映像や写真など、視聴覚教材を取り入れる。

下記のような大まかな流れに準じる予定。担当教員が研究上の専門とする南アジアの文脈や事例の紹介が多くなるが、他地域の事例も踏まえる予定。

評価方法

前期と後期のそれぞれの期末もしくは試験期間に、1 回ずつの試験。持ち込み不可。

教科書

• なし。ほぼ毎回の講義で、資料等を配布する。

参考図書

• 特になし。

履修にあたって

出席は採らないが、教科書は指定せずに資料を配布しながら講義を進行する予定なので、聴講が不可欠な意味をもつ。配布資料は、基本的に、前回の講義時の配布分まで提供する。
