科目内容

この授業の目標は、「人間の本性（人間性）と人間的なできごとに関心と愛情をいだき、人間の特殊性に価値と尊厳を認め、非人間的なものから擁護しようとする態度」という一般的なヒューマニズムの立場からさらに、過去の思想を参考にしながら、この一般的立場を理論化して、「(1)人間性の内容を規定し、(2) 何から人間性を解放し、再生させるのかを探究し、（3）主張する思想的立場」を獲得することである。そのためにわれわれは、(2) から出発して(1) を規定し、そこから(3) の主張に向かうという方針をとる。つまり、現在、人間性を抑圧・疎外していると思われる要因を探り、そこから逆に人間性とは何かを探求し、それを主張できる地点にまでいたるという道をとりたい。とくに、(3) ヒューマニズムを主張しようとする際、一方で人間中心主義だという批判にどう答えるか, 他方で現実に人間性を抑圧する要因とどのように闘うのかという問題が問われることになるだろう。

• 決まったテキストは使いません。参考文献として、松葉祥一著『哲学的なものと政治的なもの』,青土社,2010 年。これ以外の参考文献は講義中に提示します。
