科目内容

普段私たちはことばを使ってコミュニケーションをとります。何気なく使っていることばも時には相手に伝わらなかったり、いろんな意味があることに気づいたりすることもあるでしょう。また同じ意味だと思うのに、違う形の語彙に出くわしたりすることもあると思います。語学学習の際、日本語にはない音がたくさんあって驚いたこともあるでしょう。言語学はこのようなことばに関する様々な問題に対して科学的研究を進める学問です。この講義では言語学の基礎をいろんな角度から楽しみながら学んで行きます。そしてコース修了時には(1) 言語研究をもっと進め たくなる、(2) 語学学習がはかどる、(3) 他の隣接諸分野とつなげて学習したくなるなどの効果を目指します。

7	フランス育ちの花子の言葉: 統語論・生成文法 Sentences, Syntax, Generative Grammar
8	「今ちょっと手が足りない」: 語の意味論 Word Meaning, Lexical Semantics
9	「ちょっとそこまで…」: 文の意味論・語用論 Sentential Meaning, Pragmatics
10	進度調整 Adjustment
11	ことばのタイプ: 類型論 Typology
12	「右」と「東」、「上」と「北」: 言語と文化・消滅の危機にひんする言語Language and Culture, Endangered Languages
13	「ほかす」と「なおす」、「無愛想」と「塩対応」: 社会言語学 Language and Society, Sociolinguistics

評価方法

期末試験（90% 以上）および出席・授業態度等（10% 以下）で評価する。

教科書

• 使用しません。ハンドアウトを使用します。また参考図書や資料などは授業中随時紹介します。

参考図書

• 授業時に紹介します。

履修にあたって

どの授業でもそうだと思いますが、積み重ねが大事ですので、できるだけ授業を休まないでください。休むとその後の回の授業理解度は極端に落ちます。他の人の迷惑になりますので、私語は謹んでください。あと、携帯電話やスマートフォンなどの電子機器は授業中必要ないので、鞄の中にしまっておいてください。

黒板やスクリーンなどの写真をとる行為も認めません。録音・録画などの行為も認めません。
