科目内容
我が国は様々な自然的・社会的条件から災害が発生しやすい環境下に置かれている。特に、人口・資産が集積した都市においてひとたび大規模な災害が発生した場合には、人的にも物的にも甚大な被害が発生することが予測される。本講義では、都市を災害から守るための取り組み方とその変遷について学習する。

評価方法
成績は、試験70%、レポート25%、プレゼンテーション5%、として評価する。試験成績は2 回の試験（中間試験・定期試験）の平均点とする。
