科目内容

フェア・プレイ、スポーツマンシップなどを前提とする「近代スポーツ」が、西洋のイデオロギーや価値観で形成されたものであり、それが日本に導入され流行しているとしたら・・・。単なる技術・戦術や勝敗だけでスポーツを語るのではなく、文化として「sport」を捉え、その多様性を伝統スポーツに求め考える授業です。前期は伝統スポーツ、後期は近代スポーツからアプローチされる。
