科目内容
この授業の目的は、「与えられた状況の中でより善い行動をとろうとする態度」つまり倫 理的態度の獲得にある。 しかし、倫理学の目的は「善とは何か」の理論的探求であり、倫 理的態度の獲得を目的とする道徳教育とは異なるはずである。 けれども、倫理理論を学ぶ ことによって、少なくとも与えられた状況がどういう倫理学的問題をはらんでいるかを見 分けることができる。 前半ではおもに代表的な倫理理論を学び、後半は生命倫理にかかわ る諸問題を中心に、現代の生命倫理学上の課題を考えていきたい。
