科目内容

百聞は一見にしかず――それがこの講座のスローガンです。古今東西のアニメーション 映画の代表作を、長編を中心になるべく数多く上映していきます。

100年強にわたるアニメーション史をひも解き、決して古びない普遍的な作品を厳選し て紹介していきます。まずは観ること。 次に、作品が作られた歴史的背景を知ること。作者の“思い”を想像すること。技術的な試みと試行錯誤の過程を理解すること。

“観る”ことは“出会う”ことです。学生の一人一人が違う個性と資質を持っているよう に、作品にもすべて個性がある。 その出会いは皆さんに、一人一人別の感動と創作のイン スピレーションを与えてくれるでしょう。

前期は、日本のアニメーション史を飾る長編作品を紹介していきます。後期の「アニメ史」（海外アニメーションが中心）との通年履修を推奨します。

東映動画、虫プロ、竜の子プロの成立過程と、そこから生まれた代表的作家・作品を具 体的に知ることで、日本の戦後商業アニメ史の大きな流れと、 ３大スタジオの作風を巨視的に把握できるようになることが目標です。

観賞レポート60％（講義内容を理解し、作家の特性や歴史的背景について概観できている かどうかを判断） 授業に対する取り組み姿勢40％

履修にあたって

概ねシラバスに沿って監督と代表作品を採り上げていくので、事前に監督や作品の歴史的 な位置づけなどについての下調べをしておくと、 観賞時の内容理解を深める一助になる。 また、講義中で同じ監督の別作品について触れる機会も多いので、 講義後には、それら参考作品について独自に視聴するなどして視野を広げる努力をしてもらいたい。 そのことが、翌週以降の別作品の鑑賞とも有機的に関連し合い、より立体的、俯瞰的な歴 史理解、作品理解につながっていく。 レポート提出率100％未満は不可評価。２週以上遅 れた課題提出は認めない。遅刻は欠席あつかいとする。 夏期休暇中、後期への橋渡しとなる特別講義枠『アニメーション100年史概観』を行う予 定です。興味のある学生は参加してみて下さい。
