科目内容
社会の高齢化が急速に進む中、誰もが参加できる社会の構築が求められている。年齢や 性別、能力の多寡、人種や文化の違いに関わらず、誰もが利用できるように最初からデザ インするというユニバーサルデザイン（UD）の考え方は、多くの企業が取り組んでおり、 まちづくりや社会づくりなどのコトのデザインにおいてもその考え方が当たり前のことに なりつつある。
障害に起因する生活上の問題の多くは、製品・空間・情報のデザインに原因があり、デ ザインで解決できる。このような取り組みは、従来は特別な人に対する特別なデザインと して取り組まれてきたが、普通のこととして取り組むことの重要性と、その方法論を多様 な分野の多様な事例やビデオを通して学ぶ。
ユニバーサルデザインの考え方を正しく理解し、デザイン活動を始めとした今後の各自 の取り組みに活かせるようになることを目標とする。
