科目内容

古代から現在までの文化を四大文明期、ルネッサンス期、産業革命期、現代に大別し概 説した後、古代より脈々と続いている個々の科学・技術の進展の歴史を各文化の観点から 考察する。

また、各文化において行われてきた科学・技術計算に習熟していただく。さらに、発明 の発想ツールで開発された過去の科学・技術を紹介し、文系・理系を問わず、発明・発見 に対するモチベーションを高めていただくとともに、自身の研究や興味を持っている事柄 に関する認識を深めるためにそれらの歴史的進展を調べていただく。

最後に、現代文明における科学・技術的問題点を見つけ出し、それをいかにすれば解決 できるかを考えていただくようにしたい。

評価方法

筆記試験に代わる論文（レポート）の成績（50％評価）。臨時試験（20％評価）
各人の研究テーマあるいは興味ある内容の歴史的進展（レポート）の成績（30％評価）。

• 個々の科学・技術が、大別した各文化においてどのように進展してきたかを理解するよう努力する。
• 古代から現代までの様々な科学・技術計算ができるようになる。
• 個々の科学・技術計算が、発明の発想ツール（遅速・破壊・逆転・転用・五感・温故知新等）のいずれによって、発明・発見され進展してきたのかを認識する。
• 現代文明における科学・技術的問題点を見つけ出し、それをいかにすれば解決できるかを考察できるようになる。
• 個々の研究テーマおよび興味ある内容の歴史的進展を調べ、研究等に対するモチベーションを高めるとともに、その内容の有用性について考える。
