科目内容

倫理学の根本問題は「人間はいかに生きるべきか」ということである。 この講義では科学技術と人間の生き方の問題を考える。 科学技術の進歩が現代社会に投げかけている諸問題は科学的・政治的であると同時に、 勝れて倫理的問題でもある。その根本には「人間はいかに生きるべきか」という問いがあるからである。 この点を生命倫理・環境倫理・情報倫理の問題を通して考えてみたい。

4	人間の生死と技術（1）　患者の意思に応じた尊厳死や安楽死は許されるか?
5	人間の生死と技術（2）　脳死は「人の死」か? ‐「死の定義」の問題
6	人間の生死と技術（3）　臓器移植で10 人を救うために1人を犠牲にしてもよいか?
7	人間の生死と技術（4）　胎児に「生存権」はあるか? ‐人工妊娠中絶の是非
8	人間の生死と技術（5）　他人の精子・卵子・子宮で子どもを作ってもよいか?
9	人間の生死と技術（6）　遺伝子技術は「人間の尊厳」を傷つけないか?
10	人間と環境（1）　市場社会システムで地球温暖化問題を解決できるか?
11	人間と環境（2）　生態系を破壊する「移入種」を駆除してもよいか?
12	人間と環境（3）　未来の人間のために環境を守る義務はあるか?
13	人間と情報（1）　インターネットは「共愉的な道具」か?
14	人間と情報（2）　機械で人の意志を制御してもよいか?

評価方法

毎時間その日のテーマに関して小レポートを提出してもらう。これを評価の5割とする。 後の5割は試験で評価する（統一試験が不可能な場合には課題レポートをこれに代える）。 どちらも自分の考えをどれだけ論理的に展開できているかどうか、またその独創性が評価の基準になる。
