科目内容

リゾートには観光と似ているところもあれば、全く異なる点もあります。突き詰めればリゾートライフは「生活」に至ります。また、大部分のリゾートは「繰り返しの行動」です。従って、おみやげを買う、といった行動は本来、無くなります。観光が感動を伴う動的な概念であるのに対し、リゾートは意識するかどうかはともかく、心身の弛緩が目的です。従って静的な概念といえるでしょう。しかし、行動する人も開発しようとする人も、そのような厳密な区分を考えることはあまりありません。本論はその区分を極め、リゾートとはどのようなものか、わが国に定着させるために何が必要か、を学ぶものです。何故そのようなことを学ばなければならないか、その答えは「私たちの生活の質を高めるため」といえるでしょう。経済の建て直しが実現しても、国民の生活の質そのものが豊かにならなければ、意味はありません。あるいは本当の意味の経済再建は国民生活の質の向上なくしてはありえない、といっても良いでしょう。

講義は世界や日本のリゾートのケースを分析し、可能な限り、ビジュアルな資料も活用して「体感」しながらの理解を目指します。学習すべきモデルの多くは外国にありますが、わが国固有の条件と照らし合わせながら、「わが国のリゾート」のあるべき論を探ります。

評価方法

①中間小テスト　②定期テストの総合評価で行います。出席点はありませんが、出欠は毎回とります。

教科書

特に指定しません。プリントを適宜配布します。

参考図書

参考文献としては、東洋経済新報社「観光読本」、古今書院「貧困克服のためのツーリズム」、碩学社「一からの観光」など。

またタイムリーな話題に接するために、「トラベルジャーナル」、「観光」、「レジャー白書」などの雑誌類にも親しんでください。

履修にあたって

最終的にはリゾートの存在が国土のありようや人間の存在に深く関与するものであることを理解していただきたい。

①座席指定をします。初回の出席票によって席を決定しますので、欠席すると指定席はなくなります。必ず出席すること

②私語、携帯いじり、途中退室、遅刻などで授業中に何度か注意を続けて受けた場合は、定期テストの点数が無効になります

③教室内での飲食、着帽、サングラス、携帯充電などは許可しません。注意されなくても記録され、減点の対象とします。

④意識して自らリゾートライフを経験してください
