科目内容

21世紀は人や情報が国境を越え移動し交錯するグローバリゼイションの時代である。グローバリゼイションは、今まで国を単位として作られてきた制度、価値、人のつながりに大きな影響を与えている。本授業では、グローバル社会の基本的な論点を整理した上で、具体的なグローバル社会の問題事例として、「移民」や「外国人労働者」の問題と、その問題解決に関与する国際機関、国際NGO、ローカルNGO/NPO の活動や、それらが作るグローバル・ネットワークの実態と意義を考える。主にタイなどアジア諸国を事例国として取り上げる。
